RESERVATIONS

Making a Reservation: Reservations can be made online at Stanislaus County Parks website or in person at the Administration Office, Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., excluding holidays. Each person can have only one reservation per day in their name, but they may have multiple reservations as long as each is for a different date.
Late Arrivals: Late arrivals are welcome. Check-in is still required at the entrance station when the guest arrives.
Check-in and Check-out Policy: Check-in is at 4:00 p.m. and check-out is prior to 2:00 p.m. on your departure day. Reservations are non-transferable; family members and friends will not be able to check in for you.
15 Day Camping Limit: No person shall camp for more than a total of fifteen nights during any thirty-day period at any one recreation area. The use of multiple accounts to bypass this rule is not permitted.
Reservations Made in Advance: Reservations can be made up to 6 months (182 days) in advance of your desired check-in date. To find out when your preferred date becomes available, we recommend searching online for “182 days before [your desired check-in date].

Annual Passes: Annual passes are valid at all regional parks for day use only. Annual passes can be purchased at:

La Grange entrance station when open on Saturdays and Sundays.

Woodward and Modesto Reservoirs any day excluding weekends between Memorial Day and Labor Day at the entrance station during open hours.

Change Procedure: If you need to change your arrival/departure date and/or site, you must log into your reservation account to process the cancellation prior to 4:00 p.m. the day before your arrival date. A $10 cancellation fee will be assessed per reservation and the $8 non-refundable reservation fee will be deducted from your refund amount. Cancellations can be made online. This service is available 7 days a week, 24 hours a day.
Cancellation Procedure: Cancellations for Monday–Thursday arrivals must be made by 4 PM the day prior. Friday–Sunday arrivals require a minimum of 3 days’ notice, and holiday weekends require a minimum of 5 days’ notice. Cancellations made within these timeframes will receive a refund minus the $10 cancellation fee and the $8 reservation fee. Cancellations made with less notice will also forfeit the first night’s fee in addition to the cancellation and reservation fees.

​Emergency Closures: If Stanislaus County Parks and Recreation closes a campground due to an emergency or disaster, we will make every effort to notify you.

Inclement Weather: In cases of inclement weather, when the campground remains open, but you choose to leave, refunds will not be considered.
