18.08.010 Campsite Occupancy.
It is unlawful for any person to violate or fail to comply with any of the following provisions:

No person shall occupy or hold more than one campsite.

Campers may only use or occupy the campsite specifically assigned to them.

No stay of any manner of camping including but not limited to RVs, campers, trailers, or vessels, shall camp for more than a total of fifteen nights during any thirty-day period. Extension of use beyond time constraints shall be subject to the sole discretion and approval of the Director or authorized agent.

A campsite shall not be occupied by more than eight persons and no more than two vehicles shall be parked at a campsite unless written permission is given by Director or authorized agent.

Upon the termination of occupancy of any recreation area, the user shall leave the campsite in a clean and orderly condition and all personal possessions shall be removed. (Ord. CS 512 §1, 1993; Ord. CS 20 §9, 1983; prior code §10-19).
18.08.020 Cancellations.
A minimum of three days’ notice prior to scheduled arrival date on a regular weekend is required to receive a refund, less the reservation fee and the cancellation fee. Cancellations less than three days will receive a refund less the reservation fee and cancellation fee and forfeiture of the first night use fee. A minimum of five days’ notice prior to scheduled arrival date on a holiday weekend is required to receive a refund, less the reservation fee and the cancellation fee. Cancellations less than five days will receive a refund less the reservation fee, cancellation fee, and forfeiture of the first night use fee.
18.08.030 Closed Seasons for Camping.
Camping areas may be closed based on season, rain, high water conditions, or deemed necessary by the Director or authorized agent. Camping areas at Woodward Reservoir may be closed the Tuesday after the Labor Day holiday until May, annually. (Ord. CS 512 §19, 1993).
18.08.040 Designation of Public Campgrounds.
The Director may designate public campgrounds on lands covered by this title and shall mark by appropriate signs the type of campsites or campsite areas. The Director may designate restrictions on the use of public reservoirs covered by this title and shall mark by appropriate signs (such as buoys and waterway markers) speed limits, boating areas, and other restrictions on use. (Ord. CS 20 §7, 1983; prior code §10-16).
18.08.050 Extension of Use.
The use of a campsite may be extended by a user with advanced notice and verification of campsite availability by staff. Use may be extended day-to-day or week-to-week upon payment of charges in advance for the additional period. Fees shall be paid prior to two p.m. the day before the beginning of the additional period. (Prior code §10-18).
18.08.060 No-shows.
No-show patrons will result in the forfeiture of fees for the total number of unattended reserved campsites. All fees will be non-refundable.
18.08.070 Receipts.

Users of a recreation area shall pay the required fees as specified in the current adopted fee schedule and will be issued a receipt. The user shall retain the receipt for fees paid and shall show the receipt upon request of an authorized employee or agent.

A receipt for fees shall not be altered, defaced, or used in any way for the purpose of avoiding the payment of any required fee. A receipt for fees shall not be used by any person other than the original purchaser for the purpose of avoiding the payment of any required fee. (Ord. CS 512 §1, 1993; Ord. 18.08.080 Temporary Visitor Permits.

A temporary visitor may be issued a visitor permit which allows a visitor to enter and remain in the relevant park for up to thirty minutes. Applicable fees will be charged to the temporary visitor who fails to return the temporary visitor permit to the entrance station within thirty minutes. (Ord. CS 20 §8, 1983)

No visitor passes will be issued during the period of Memorial weekend through Labor Day weekend except at the discretion of the Director or authorized agent.
